I was hoping for some epic builds in the Tiger division, but they all run exactly the same builds as we are used too. Very disappointing. So far it is just your normal tournament.

What did you expect? Most of the teams that are going to compete are at least going to use some decent builds. You're not going to find as many clueless teams in an organized tourney setting than on the ladder, where they can grab 4 and go. There are a lot of starting PvP guilds that are the same rank as those completely clueless teams, but they'll eventually improve.

I was hoping for something at least a little different. Not much, but maybe 1-2 different skills then normal. Should have known better tho, I know that.

Playing 4 rounds of swiss tournament that doesn't even matter and then losing in the 2nd round of the single elim because our monk claims he's lagging too much because he's on euro servers to infuse a 3 second spike when their team is at 25% health and about to degen out but we lose because someone dies and all our pressure is killed is a lot of fun.

There were originally suppose to be 20 guilds. We were also wanting to make it a "top 8" single elimination, but because we didn't have enough time to announce it beforehand, we decided to just keep it at top 16. It pretty much became an opportunity for top guilds to basically play essentially "unrated" matches with builds against other top ranking guilds. It's not often when you get so many good guilds together and losing doesn't even effect your rating nor the outcome of who qualifies for single elimination. [rawr] ran some pretty fun builds in the swiss.

Worst part is that top 8 in dragon doesn't even get minipets, and top 8 in titan does.

And first place in any of the brackets have a worse prize than 2nd-4th.

I wish it was easier to mix real life prizes with in game prizes. Maybe you guys could trade with a guild from Tiger division for network cards for minipets!

It was actually pretty funny in vent ekelon when everyone discovered that winning against rawr cost us minipets. Quiet the uproar cause deep down inside, everyone in dR is pve scrub

edit: And for those who complained about the swiss not mattering. I actually enjoyed it. Its not often we get to play against that many top guilds, and we played just as seriously as we would if it mattered.

Fun tournament for us in Tiger overally. Tho it got ruined by DC 1 minute before hitting 'Join' to second round of single eliminations, bye bye headsets.

Our monk pulled a tommy twice, good times. Other then that, it was quite boring to watch. With the only good part was Will turning the radio broadcast into another QQ thread. I blame the map rotation.

Guild Leader got banned day of the tournament for swearing and along with him went our rawr token. The matches that I saw were nice, more interesting than the MAT.
